Samuel W. Cox Jr., DPM, is a third-generation podiatrist who’s been practicing podiatric medicine and foot and ankle surgery since 1992. Dr. Cox is committed to providing the highest-quality medical and surgical care for patients of all ages at Arizona Foot & Ankle Specialists, LLC in Goodyear, Arizona. 

Dr. Cox is double board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He’s also a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. 

After graduating from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, now known as the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Cox went on to complete a three-year medical and surgical residency program. His training focused on medicine as well as reconstructive surgery of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. He’s been a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) since 1991. 

In addition to treating common injuries such as foot and ankle fractures and sprains, Dr. Cox provides comprehensive care for the full spectrum of podiatric concerns, including toenail fungus and bunions. With the goal of providing prompt and effective treatment, Dr. Cox looks forward to helping new and existing patients return to their normal lives as soon as possible.
